I excited and ready, just always dissapointed that it conflicts with archery season.

I just moved to Astoria, and I am drooling at all the fishing opportunities. I think about it all day everyday, and can't wait to get off work. As a fisheries scientist, I'm out on many of the local rivers sampling juv salmon, so I get to scope out where I want to go. Jonesn' big time...

I also am extremely excited for the fall run. However, if you're waiting for the fall fish, you're missing out on a lot of fair weather fishing. I get quite a kick out of hitting the river in a pair of cut off jeans and tennis shoes and landing big fish. GET OUT AND FISH!!!
