I want a nice round one with 4 pins, any reccmendations? I don't really care for my current one that much. It will be going on a matthews q2 if that helps.

Re: bowsight reccomendations?
If money is not an issue go with a spot hogg. They're a 5 pin site, but they are the best. Copper john makes a good 5 pin sight as well. I don't know many 4-pin sights. I set mine up 20-30-40-50-60 if that helps.

Re: bowsight reccomendations?
I've recently purchased a Trophy Ridge Matrix, its one of those vertical pin sights. I was interested in being able to see the whole target. I'll mount if tomorrow
and let you know what I think.

I have a Trophy ridge as well. It is slick and beats hands down any horizontal sight. Easy to adjust any of the pins, elevation and horizontal position without tools. I will never go back to a horizontal sight after using this sight.

Re: bowsight reccomendations?
I second the Spot Hogg, I had a trophy ridge and it warped. I will never have to buy another sight again. The Spot Hogg is one tough sight.

Re: bowsight reccomendations?
I too have a Trophy Ridge. I really like the ability to see all around the pins . I think this is the 3rd year of use and I did have a problem when I first got it. The elevation marks were a stick on material that came loose soon after I got it. I peeled it off and and put my own marks on with a scribe. The new models have gone to permanent markings and I think some other improvements have been made with the location of the fiber optic routing. For the money though I think this site should have been made a little stouter.

Re: bowsight reccomendations?
fine line was and is still the best Ive found. It looks like i am looking thru a rifle scope. This is a crosshair sight. I have a 20, 30, 40, 50 and 60 yrd pins. You wont find them in the stores anymore but you can find them on ebay once in a while. Try one and you will see what I am talking about.

Re: bowsight reccomendations?
I have a spot hogg, PSE, and a fineline mentioned above.
The spot hogg is great, very robust, vertical alignment wire, and you can order the configuration you want. Large or small sight guard, .019 or .029 pins.
The PSE is a great sight too, bright and solid construction.
The fineline is a solid site that will stand up to abuse but the pins are not very bright.
Good luck!

Re: bowsight reccomendations?
I have a trophy ridge and no money, otherwise I would have a Spot Hogg. I used to have a Spot Hogg and am now kicking myself for selling it. The trophy ridge is not built for hunting, the fiber optics are constantly breaking.

Re: bowsight reccomendations?
GO WITH NOTHING BUT THE BEST SPOT-HOGG. THE REAL DEAL IS THE 5 PIN MICRO ADJUST ONE AND IT GOES FOR LIKE 135$ WAY STRONG AND EASY TO ADJUST. GO WITH THE BEST, NOT A PIECE OF EQUIPMENT WHERE CHEAP WILL CUT IT!
