WC/WCX Dog Titles

Rose City Labrador Retriever Club is having a working certificate test on April 19 at Vancouver lake. These test usually aren't real difficult and test your dog for normal working ability. For the WC your dog has to make one land retrieve with a live flyer (Pigeon I think) and two water retrieves. Distances general around 50 yards I think. I have had young puppies 4 months old pass this test. This is a fund raiser for our club and a chance for dog people to get together for a day of fun and training. It is open to any of the retriver breds.

Cost $20 for WC and $25 for WCX.

Please contact me to RSVP by April 7th if you are interested. This is a very laid back test where we are introducing you to hunt test. Judge is Jim Morris for the day.

This is a great way to get 'em started. It's also a great way that keeps Danny off the river on the 19th?

Yea Tilla, Don't I know about it. I'm already crying. I have been out twice this year and got a little fishy each time. I'm stuck in the garage for the next month trying to get my boat ready for the largest coho salmon run of all time since records have been kept. Close to a million fish coming up I hear.

We have our picnic test on that same date. I hope they enjoy themselves at St Louis Ponds. My wife is judging in Aug for Jim.

Post up for those whom want to participate in this event. I need to get a count by April 2nd so that I can get the necessary birds and the judges can get a tenitive count. Also if I can get $$ sent in for your entries just like at a regular hunt test. That way we do not wind up getting a lot of birds and then getting stuck with the cost when people don't show. If you send me your name I will put it on the list and then you can send in your fees.
