There was a a pretty active thread on this a short time back - don't know if you got in on it or not, but it's
here.
I was really wanting to hunt them, but not to the tune of 400-500 bucks. I kept hearing about "feral pigs" in Oregon and how they classed them as predators and wanted them wiped out, and I figured a guy could get access to do some hunting and help a farmer. Sounds instead like they've become a marketable commodity and a cash crop.
Trust me, that doesn't bother me at all - I figure the farmer is working pretty hard to make a go of things since I see them out on a tractor plowing while I'm headed to the river fishing. But I don't want to spend that kind of money to play the game.
I'll save my $$$ and go goose hunting with Cochran and Smith (and Rauly, and Gun Rod Bow, and Lured In, and Get Bit, and Northriver1, and TWB, and)...geez, how many of us were there?
Anyway, you find a place to hunt 'em and there'll be ifishers standing in line to join you.
