Default How to tie a sliding, double hook rig?

Can anyone tell me how to or does anyone have a link to tying a sliding (adjustable) double hook rig? I want to tie up some of what are sometimes called "trap" rigs for use with live bait for rockfish, lings & halibut. This is typically a single hook on the front that slides and a treble on the rear that is fixed.

If you know how to tie an egg loop (snell), you just tie the rear hook on, slide the line through the forward (slider) and then just use a separate line to tie another egg loop. Some people use dacron on the slider.
