The Portland Chapter of the Oregon Hunter's Association (OHA) is having its annual fundraiser banquet on Saturday, March 22nd. It is a very worthy cause for an organization that looks out for hunter's rights in Oregon. It's also a great place to meet and talk with other Oregon hunters, and generally have a fun, relaxing evening.
Tickets are still available. It is at the Greenwood Inn on Allen Blvd just off Highway 217 in Beaverton. Doors open at 5:00 pm, dinner at 7:00 pm, raffles/auction to follow. I believe there will be about $15,000 worth of merchandise to raffle and auction -- including many rifles and other cool gear, as well as general stuff like wildlife art/prints. The number of people signing up so far is way down, and OHA would like to do better than just recoup their expenses -- so please get the word out to anyone interested. With the limited number of people signed up so far, the odds of winning raffle items goes up, and even the auction items may go cheap too -- so hurry up and sign up!!!  The original sign-up deadline given was March 15th.
Ticket packages/meal options available:
1. $200 -- 2 dinner tickets/2 door prize tickets, $180 worth of raffle tickets (value $230)
2. $100 -- 2 dinner tickets/2 door prize tickets, $80 worth of raffle tickets (value $130)
3. $75 -- 1 dinner ticket/1 door prize tickets, $60 worth of raffle tickets (value $85)
4. $25 -- 1 dinner ticket
The meal main dish is roasted chicken.
