Default Bow hunter primer.

Here's what your looking for boys!

Didn't take this old boy long to spot me at 80 yards and I was not moving, I had spotted him first, but he knew something just was not right. Notice what his home looks like. Abalone, you would wear out 10 pairs of pruning shears trying to cut enough trails to find this bull! Good luck guys and start praying for rain, because this bull is on private forest land and if it keeps staying hot, he will be off limits.

Hey Baltz don't go raining on our parade. This happens almost every year, Rank gives me the cooridnates and bam the whole place closes down . Note ( I wish) There are few guys who don't believe in the posted little red signs and they have caught a few the last couple of years. But this is a fact over on the West side you can scout all year and then when the season is open you have to National Forest.

This is what he looked like from the rearend! He definately is a smart booger! I did catch him with his pants down, but I probably got him thinking "Oh, yeah, its time for hunting season again."

Great photos RankA. Best part was that you held off showing the elk exit photo.

Having an elk tag and deer tag every year is worth a lot more than any one limited entry tag in my opinion. I'm sure glad Oregons west side is so under rated as a hunting experience.

Hmmm it's late and I'd better get some rest.
