I dont know the story, just got the pics in an email from a buddy. Interesting at the least.

Called the guy who emailed it to me. He got it from a buddy of a buddy, so we dont know when or where this animal was harvisted.

My dad killed a bull in the starkey unit when I was in college that had a wierd friggn rack. Can't say it sprouted an extra set of horns like this one, but he made me mad as heck when he was so embarrased about the look of the horns he told the butcher to keep them!! [img]graemlins/stupid.gif[/img] I never did get to see them in person (besides pictures) but it was a 4x5 and all of the tines sprouted from the browtine area and looked like a spike gone wild.

That happens to deer when their anlers fall off the skin that is left or something does something so that it groes a nother set of antlers......
