I got a rangefinder for my birthday

I have a wonderful wife.
She bougt me a Bushnell Yardage Pro - Scout for my birthday. It's awesome. I can't wait to use it for scouting and bow hunting.
Now all I need is a new good pair of binoculars.
But with my wife expecting our first child, this maybe the only hunting toy I get this year.

you will love it i got a bushnell 800 2 years ago it has been to alaska (without me!) for moose and been well used by some of my close freinds and relatives who said who needs that at first now they want to know if i will be using it so they can barrow it

The scout is a nice unit, but it will go through those $6 batteries pretty quick. Make sure you carry an extra.

Yeah the scout model is nice and compact, but do yourself a favor and take that battery out when your storing it away in the off season. They seem to drain out at the drop of a hat, and there not exactly cheap to replace.
