Default IFISH GOOSE HUNT LOWDOWN

Here's the latest, guys: We will be meeting at the SAFEWAY store in Junction City on 99W, near where it crosses with 99E at 5:00 AM, Sunday morning. Some of you have offered to bring Eliminator blinds. If you are able to do this, this is greatly appreciated and please let us know asap how many you are bringing. Brad and I are looking forward to meeting you guys!

Okay, Dave, see you there. I can hardly sit still while I type this. Ohboy!

Hey, this changes some of our carpool plans. Sounds like we still need to consolidate rigs as much as possible, so I can ride or drive. I've got a 1-ton crewcab, so I can haul bodies and blinds. I'm not opposed to riding with someone either, so whatever works.

I'm gonna be at the gillnet session tonight in Hillsboro and over at Newport tomorrow, so I won't be on the net much. I'll check it when I get home tonight and tomorrow night - I just won't be around for the decision making. You guys just tell me what you want me to do.

I have 2 eliminators of my own and can bring 2 others if I hear back right away.

Since no one has offered a ride, I'll be driving to Junc City in a flat bed from work and can consolidate from the Safeway. If we are doing a b-fast before, there is a coffee shop about 1/4 mile South of the Safeway on the West side of 99. I don't remember the name, but If I'm getting up to meet at 5, I'll get there at 4:00 for b-fast if others want to.

Let me know if 2 blinds is enough or do you want the other 2?

GRB

Guys, guess car pooling is out, I have a long drive ahead of me, one minute, so it is time too go to bed.

Rauly, are we hunting in my backyard? Don't forget to ask about the quade. Do I need more than a case of T's?

Rauly...saw the post earlier and got your message. We will be there.

If anyone is still looking at driving solo from the PDX area, we may have room for one more in my buddies rig. I will check with him tomorrow and post up. GRB, if it works out, we may be able to pick you up from the Kmart parking lot or something like that. Given that I have to leave here around 230am to get to my buddies, the breakfast thing may be out for us.

I can't wait.

Nah, don't worry about sleeping in the driveway. Just honk when you get there and NR1 or his wife will come out and show you where to go....

Breakfast sounds good. Raw eggs, huh? In that case all I need is a toothpick to punch a little hole and I can eat 'em on the way.

Geez, I'm honored. We're finally gonna do something that isn't 400 miles from my place. I can sleep in. I feel for ya, Lured-In, I really do.

One more day! One more day! One more day!

Have a blind, but I'm sure it's not camo'd correctly. Have been using canary grass & blackberries to blend into the area I've hunted the last couple of weekends.
Can't wait for that O'dark thirty to roll around. Too many things to do today. Have to clean 4 Westerns from this morning's hunt, put decoys away, clean out the boat, honey do's, gotta do's, hockey game, get up and go hunting again, OH My !!
Go to work Monday & catch up on my rest & relaxation in order to get ready for next weekend.

Sorry I'm unable to go along tomorrow with you guys....maybe next time. Those of you who come to Junction City at O-dark-thirty better bring your own breakfast....beause I don't believe there will be anything open except for the Texaco mini-mart. McDonald's doesn't open until at least 6, maybe 7 on sundays. The Viking, the sit-down restaurant on the main drag (99), won't be open before about 7, I bet....I could be wrong, they may be under new ownership or something....but I think I right.

I will leave the door unlocked, come on in and help yourself, just don't wake the dog. There were birds on my place this morning, killed nine, but didn't ever feel like we were in the game.
If you plan on eating at the Viking Inn get your shots. If I have to cook for more than three bring some bacon and eggs.

How about the quade, do I need to bring it?
