I go hunting with a good freind all the time who is part of that club... him and his dad are part. It is a pretty cool club, they have lots of property all around the state. I have only hunted on a couple, mostly out by John Day during opening weekend of Dove season along with during pheasant season. The properties they have are all really well managed along with the system they have for reservations and such is pretty well set up as far as not letting the properties get overcrowded. I know they also have some areas specifically set up for goose and duck hunting, although most of those places the members aren't allowed to have guests (as far as I know). Hope this helps a little

a friend of mine had a meeting with them and invited me to come over and listen. The initiation fee was not to bad for getting permission to camp on the properties, but where they get you is if you want to hunt elk it cost 400$ and up depending on the propertie that you choose. if you want to hunt deer there is a nother charge , if you want ot hunt ducks there is yet another fee. Then if you wnat to bring along someone their is another fee. You probly are getting the point now. Just for my friend to hunt ducks on their properties and bring along a hunting buddy for the year was $1500 dollars. I becomes a little steep for me.

This is the one with the pamphlets and I guess they had a booth at the Sportsman show also. I did hear about the one time initiation fee of about $700 and yearly dues about $450 for upland hunting ,fishing and camping. I also figured there would be upgrades( I was hoping  maybe not that steep though) I was wondering if they are reputable and if the properties are good. I don't need to hunt on a game refuge but I also want the best bang for my buck.

I belonged to a similar situation 15-22 years ago, it was about $700/yr for the whole thing. There was out of state properties too, a few cabins. We had access to a few 100,000 acres for whatever you could think of. Yes, there was a reservation system, but it was fair and you had an uncrowded, no 's experience. Some of the goose properties had 6 man blinds with several hundred decoys. We hunted and fished a lot!

I have a friend named Kevin that hunted their duck property near Dayton this year a few times and is not real pleased.

He told me that he is dropping out of the club.

If you e-mail me your #, I'll ask him to call you and give you his .02.
