Default Spill

If you haven’t already heard, the 9th circuit just issued its opinion on the spill injunction appeal. (WE WON!) The 9th circuit affirmed the injunction, but remanded one question back to the district court, specifically whether the injunction needs to be more narrowly tailored or modified. In short, spill will continue as currently outlined.

Thanks to everyone, especially those who attended the NSIA Boat Rally and those who have written in support of spill for salmon. This is a big win!

For an interesting read, check out the Opinion of the UNITED STATES COURT OF APPEALS FOR THE NINTH CIRCUIT . It's only 38 pages, PDF. I get the sense that the battle's won, but the war continues.
