Voted "yes, but not happy" --

Primarily because I do not believe that the increase will add dollars to the ODFW budget -- rather, it will give the politicians more impetous to monkey with the budget and decrease the General Fund support of ODFW.

I totally agree. I strongly believe that even if they 100% guaranteed that all the moneys would go straight and not get diverted, it doesn't mean that they wouldn't reduce the other moneys already coming in. They would technically be following what they promised but they would scr*w the sportsman/woman everytime given the chance.

...well at least in MHO they would.

Just about everyone I've talked to is worried about the money getting put in the General Fund. This same sort of thing went down in Utah a few years back and the outdoors groups threw a fit after the first year went by and there was no management plan even started for managing game....

Appreciate all the votes guys, if you haven't voted please do!

Adios

I would pay the increase, but after reading what gizmo had to say about what they did in washington by lowering the fees it might be something to think about or consider

$5 in the long run isn't much to lose sleep on. But I would like to see the current money stay put and all the new money stay with the odfw.

I absolutely will not go for it unless there's some guarantee it goes to ODFW. Until then it's *$#) NO!!!

Agree with Tailchaser 111%. Money has to go to F&G, not in the rainyday or general fund.
