NF of the Nehalem

Fish there with verysweepy today. Managed to go 2 for 2. The fisrt one was a big fat hen full of berries. Got 'em curring right now, hope they turn out it's my fisrt try. Good thing I had someone else with me, the hook came out as soon as I got her on the beach. There's no way I would have stopped her from going back. The second one was a bit smaller, and well lets just say that I have had sticks put up a bigger fights. Let that one because it was still early, then had nothing the rest of the day.

where were you fishing on the North Fork and what were you using?

ya, the north fork, a little ways down from the hatchery. got them both on pink and pearl corkie, pink yarn, with shrimp smelly jelly.
