My email is down ,so ill reply here.
The units 14,15,16, are good units. Its very big timbered country . Unit 16 is limited access. Unit 15 is covered with old clear cuts. If you hunt this area i would try Reed Mt (Silver legget Rd.) there is always a big herd at the top of Reed Mt. Unit 15 is very brushy and timbered. The cuts can give you a chance to spot Elk at a distance, you will not do that in the other units (no cuts). There is good hunting from Grangeville to Elk City. It is mostly covered in logging roads but they have closed most to motorized travel. It gets pretty good pressure but, after the first week it gets almost no pressure.
Dworshak has lots of elk , but almost no big bulls. The area around the Old Granddad Bridge is covered with elk, lots of clear cuts and pretty good pressure. Lots of friends hunted it and killed lots of Elk, but never a big boy. I lived and worked in these places for many years and know the areas very well. You could kill a bull absolutly any where in these units.
Once again, if you get a tag in the Beaverhead units, you will have the time of your life. IF, you get a B tag you should give me a call. Ill tell you about a couple spots that i cant say here, they are personal favorites and it just wouldnt be right to print it on the net. My email will be back soon and ill get more personal. id. p.
