Default Fishing the Skeena first week of august...question

Me and a couple buddies are hitting the Skeena in a couple weeks, never fished it before, bring up an 18ft sled w/ pump. Didn't know if anyone had/has any trip reports or what not. Plan on bouncing eggs mostly. Thanks for any info.

It's one heck of a long drive! Plus you can't guarantee it won't blow out. We went last year 21.5 hours of driving to a river that was chocolate brown. We did manage a few fish but was some tough fishing. Also, we fished out of Rupert and did well on halibut...
