Default Wanted Duck Hunting Club 2003/2004

Looking for a lease for 2003/2004. I would like to take a look at it while there are still some birds around this season and see what it looks like and maybe talk to some long time members or referances. I am the type that would be willing to help out where ever needed through out the year as well. Mostly interested in ducks Geese would be a secondary thing as well if they flew over the duck blind.

I am interested in a club where the memebers do their own thing and not with a hunt captain in the blind saying OK shoot or Don't shoot. I hate the sky blasting thing to no end and like to really work the birds thats why I'm looking at the private thing.

Dan,
Don't know how far you are willing to travel but there is the potential for a dynamite piece coming available. Lower Chehalis Valley. The owners of this farm are at odds, one of them is going just don't know which one. If one wins out then I will have the entire 600 acres for hunting which I would quickly make into a club. There are currently 4 pit blinds and 3 floaters. Best day this year I can email you a picture but was 21 Mallards and Widgeon in 42 minutes. All Blinds shoot 3 comfortably and can shoot 4. I don't know if this is to far of a drive for you but I go by there everyday right now for the next couple of weeks so, if you would like I could show you some of the layout.

Jim

Jim, I am definitely interested, I have hunted the valley before quite a bit actually over the years. Where exactly not names or exact locations but what part of the valley is it in. Also do they plant any cover crops or is that an opition. I remember I think in 1996 watching 9 dz G & H dekes go away because we left them out over night. We ran down to get them and it was to late. I think we might have gotten two dozen of them back.

Let me know when and how much $$. the sooner the better I want to firm it up before too long.

Jim if you set these areas up as a club are you planning on guided them also. Send me a e:mail at home what you have in mind and possibly how many days a week we can hunt.
I have in the past did Lincoln creek but it got that the guys that were on his list got the cream and the rest got the crap. I never want to get into something like that again. From what I hear you have a top notch rep. so I'm interested.
Let me know when you would like to take a look at it and I will set up a time to do it. I have the sportsman show everyday this week but maybe early Thursday or Friday might work before the show.
I live in in Rainier just over from Longview so it isn't really that far for me. I also have another whom may be interested as well.

Dan!
