I'm heading that direction this Thursday to do some boatin'/campin'/fishin'.

Any reports would be appreciated. Thanks, Tim

Last year I fished there this time of year and did well at the east end of the lake trolling for the kokanee/silvers.

Thanks Catchalot... That was my plan, so I'll stick to it.

If you get bored trolling for silvers...This lake is one of the top 3-4 in the state for smallmouth LAKES!!

Eastend on the flats if the water is up!

Good luck

Not real recent...but my Dad was up there in late June, and just hammered the Kokanee trolling deep.

Think he said he was out 3-5 colors (leaded line) most of the day...

Here is the setup we have always used up there:

Leaded line outfit (dont like messing w/ weights)
10 LB leader appx 5 foot
Snubber (rubber hosing dohickey)
Wedding ring

Now the important part: Baby shrimp like you get at the seafood deli....microwave that stuff up till it really toughens the shrimp up (whooboy this part stinks in the house) and topped with a piece of white corn.

I have had more fun Koke fishing up there, than just about any fishing I have ever done!
As a side note, when its gotten really hot, we have to get down even deeper, so we have put bannana weights in line with the leaded line to help us get down that extra depth to the fish!

Good Luck..
