Default ODFW Lic and tag fee increase

would you pay a little more to keep hunting and fishing in Oregon. Keep game officer, keep land owner programs keep fih hatcheries. Be in Salem Tues. Feb 4th, 1PM hearing room D. Support the Dept. fee increase, or we are going to lose a lot of the great programs. We the sportsmen have asked the Dept. to raise fee. Now we need to let the Leg. know that we are willing to pay a little more, to save these programs. We all need to be there. Thanks. Jerry A. Dove, President Tillamook Anglers Corp.

Default Re: ODFW Lic and tag fee increase

Jerry: I posted on this before. I would suggest you find out from the State of Wa. how there revenue stands now since they lowered the license fee so the average angler will have a reason to buy them...not decide that they don't need to fish anymore.

This happened in WA. About 3 yrs ago, they finally got the message that its in the quantity of licenses sold that raise money...not how high they can get it. We fishing junkies will pay the price. The ave. joe taking his kid out on opening day won't.

Please suggest that ODFW check with WDFW to see what the actual results have been since this has happened.
