Hey, if you all get it started, I'd love to bring my dog. He's a year old, but needs a bit of extra training. Please drop me an e-mail if you all get something started. Thanks!

You bet. I am hoping one of these days Tilla will get their club newsletter out to me so I can join and get in on the pre-test events they have.

I am currently training with a trainer twice a week and working Tess almost everyday around here. One thing I think would be great is some of the socializing/honoring drills that could come out of this.

Let me know what you figure out.

Dang me too, my pup just turned 9 months, got him when he was 6 months and he's doing well but he's still a handful and he has been a hard one to break of 'keep away'. Anyway, put me on your list for information when you get it...

Picnic on Mar 9. about 8:30. Based on AKC hunt tests. We run Junior, senior and master categories. Pitch in and help! Training aids are OK as long you keep it cool. There are puppy over and under 6 mo.categories too. It is non-profit. We are using pheasants. We need gunners and winger operators. There are people to assist, some of the best in the NW. Cost is dependent on membership but figure on $10. (Heck the birds cost $8!) It does take a bit of a day to do, bring food.
It's an opportunity to give your retriever a vocation.
Information call Glen or Mary Jo 503-286-1716.

OK, now you are in trouble. I am judging the licensed AKC Junior on Mar 15th with the Greater Pacific Retriever Trial Club.. Doesn't it make sense to attend the picnic the week before?
Those people that have questions about the AKC Hunt test program and how to achieve titles should investigate. It's really up to you. Let's see, "Lured In" to the Line!!!!!
