New diver at Joes
As I wandered through Joes today I noticed a new diver on the rack. It looks like it has a blade/flasher attatched to the bottom of the diver.
Has anybody tried them or seen them?
Thanks

Re: New diver at Joes
They are quite a bit different in what they do compared to other divers/flashers. As far as the price compared to $14 for a piece of bent plastic with two swivels and a piece of lazer tape they arent bad.

Gee, I knew being an ifish sponsor means you get to tout your stuff all over the place, but I didn't know it ALSO meant you get to bad-mouth anyone else who makes something similar...

I would recommend the Old Salty's. They were on sale at Fishermans.

I think its a good idea, and I am going give one a shot. Money and fishing gear seem to go hand in hand.

Re: New diver at Joes
I got my new luhr jensen flasher, diver combo for free along with 4 new coyote lures at the Hammond boat launch a few weeks ago. Thanks luhr jensen. This guy was handing out care packages to all the boat owners that morning. I think it was the coho opener day.

Re: New diver at Joes
I went down to Goe's today to take a look at these new fandangled divers, and at $19.99 (OUCH) I still bought one! Once I got home I took off the stock spoon that came with it and atached a small Kone Zone to the bottom of it. We will see how this new diver performs at Bouy 10 next month. If you read the directions it actually suggest's putting on your favorite flasher of dodger. I believe the idea behind this product is no more dreaded line tangles!

Re: New diver at Joes
With over $40,000.00 invested in Tooling in the last year it's a little tight right now. I guess I could have sold to Phil Jensen. NOT! I figure the best way to keep the "Made in USA" is to sacrafice a little. The Tool makes a Higher Quality Flasher while keeping production costs in check. Thanks for everything and most of all, Don't forget the Lifejackets.

Re: New diver at Joes
I pretty much figured out before I asked the question that I would get a couple of answers from a couple of sponsors. So be it.
Since I saw the item at Joe's I already knew the price.
Since they are made in America and come to find out made locally I went ahead and purchased a couple this morning.
What I liked about them is I won't have to run a fish flash/kone zone/flasher inline with my diver as it will be attatched below the diver so it should make for easier netting and is SUPPOSED to eliminate line tangle.
We'll see soon enough
