Default guide info needed

Can anyone tell me where I can find information on guided archery hunts for blacktail deer, roosevelt elk and turkey in Oregon?

Can't recommend any since I've never been on a guided hunt but one fair source is the good ol' Fishing and Hunting News. They have numerous ads in the back for guide services both locally and abroad, might something in there..

Larry Jones probably will be up here from Springfield and will certainly know someone you can trust...

I forgot about the Sportsman Show next week. I expect I can find what I'm looking for there. Thanks.

Moose **** ,
Alot of guides won't guide in-staters because of fear that they will horn in on their territory (unless there hunting private land). Good luck.

"Alot of guides won't guide in-staters because of fear that they will horn in on their territory "

Well as a former fishing guide, I guess I can understand that kind of thinking (although I don't personally agree with it). If the truth be known, the reason I am interested in paying for the services of a guide is so that I can learn a few basics. The value of that proposition became evident when I began trying to scout some areas on the coast and it became obvious that I didn’t have a clue as to what I should be looking for (even after reading several articles and a couple of books). I suppose that I could just muddle along and try to figure it out all on my own, but I’m not a young man anymore and I would like to experience some modest success while I still have my health and while my sons still want to hang out with me. At any rate, if the guides don’t want to share their knowledge with a local then so-be-it, I’ll learn some other way. Thanks for your help and advice.
