I went to one on the Mackenzie through Tightlines...or something like that. It was great, but a little bit of a drive. It is about a week long.

Get in touch with River city fly shop. (sponser) They are out of Beaverton off of Scholls Ferry rd. If they dont have one I bet they know who might.

Take a look at Twig #1 intro post - Jeff H runs the youth camp on the McKenzie - top notch guy - family has been in the fishing business since 1923. He told us some about the camp and when my daugher goes - I hope I can pass for 14, they get to do all sorts of really fun stuff - learning to tie flies, catch fish with their flies - learn to read water, hike up to little streams and fish little water for trout, to cook outdoors on an open fire, swimming in the river, learn to run a drift boat or raft, all sorts of stuff

Check out the Tight Lines Fishing web site (its all one word) - if the Mods ding it PM me. Jeff is a little slow to respond but thats cause he is in the middle of his busy season and on the river somewhere. The river youth camp link is broken.

Her is her post
