I took out my old bow (Pearson Spoiler 90#) and was shooting it and then it came back to me why I bought a new bow 4 or 5 years ago. In the old days the serving was made from monofilament and then one year it started breaking, I would re-serve it and it would break after 30 – 40 shots. Then I put tuff line serving on and it wouldn’t break but it would move on the string and create gaps and then the knocks would move. I took my bow into the pro-shop and had a new cable, string, serving and knocks put on. Same problems. Then I replaced the crimp on knock with a D-Shaped screw on knock. It helped some; the serving doesn’t start to separate until after 100 shots. The wheel distance is a little more than my Mathews and the draw length is the same. I would like to get it into good working order, any ideas.
