I don't post too many "reports" cause I just don't like to broadcast how good or badly (which is more often the case) I'm doing but this one I just have to share.
The fish gods have been good to me this winter season. In fact on 2 seperate days I've hooked fish within just a few casts of each other. Today I decided take this guy from work who's been signing the blues about how he never has any luck. I've been telling him "You just wouldn't believe it....you have to go!" Well....he didn't believe it....heck I almost didn't believe it. Today he brought his gear and we headed out on our lunch hour.
Being the nice guy I am  I proceed to rig him up with the "right" gear and place him in the prime spot. I walk downstream 30yds and proceed to fish. 15 minutes later...BAM! A nice cookie cutter hatchery buck takes the bait. We land him....I sharpen the hook...check the leader....standard procedure....(oh yeah...tag the fish)....I then proceed to cast in the same drift.....BAM! NEXT cast fish on! It was the brother of the one we just landed. What a lunch hour!
None for my co-worker this time....but he's a beliver now.....I know where we're having lunch tomorrow
p.s. so happy to be back at the office..
