Default Detroit Lake Question?

I fished at Detroit Lake last year and was quite successful on some nice trout. However, for the life of me, I can't remember how much weight I added to the small Ford Fenders.
(Or if I added any weight at all.(??)

If any one would care to help me out, I know my wife would be very appreciative. (She loves BBQ'd trout!)

Thanks for any advice!

We used both 3 oz and 2 oz last week. 3's seem to receive more action. lots of plant-sized rainbows...little else for that day.

If you are able to run multipul rods try setting each rod up with a different weight....2 to 4oz.....see witch rod(s) get bit first and change the rods to that weight. You will need to find the depth of the fish first and then them. Good luck and have fun when you go
