Clark County Roads Abutting Bodies of Water
I received this from the Clark Co. commissioners office this afternoon, inviting interested parties to attend a presentation as disccused below:
Quote:
The Board of Commissioners has approved a work session to discuss legal
factors regarding vacation of county roads abutting bodies of water.
The discussion will be a general overview and not focused on a specific
county road or neighborhood situation. Curt Wyrick, Chief Deputy
Prosecuting Attorney, will be staff lead for this discussion. A work
session is not the same as a public hearing and not structured for
public comment, but it is a good opportunity for the Board to informally
discuss a topic of public interest and for the public to directly listen
to that discussion. The work session will be located in the county's
Public Services Center (1300 Franklin Street), 6th floor training room,
at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 20, 2005. If you have any questions
please let me know (397-2232).

I am scheduled to be out of town next Wed and hope someone can attend to brief us on what is happening.
This issue has to do with county easemnets to waterways that have been discussed on Ifish.
Thanks, Giz...

Re: Clark County Roads Abutting Bodies of Water
Giz,
I'm going to be there, and I may get a chance to speak. I'll be limited to law enforcement issues, however.

Unfortunatly I can't get away from work mid morning like that or I'd go. I have to have a "family emergency" to even get a weekend off it seems.
