I've had good luck with Ole's gun shop. He's in the phone book. I don't know he compares price wise though with others. He may be kind of steep.

I would say that Ole is your best bet from what I have heard he does good work.

I knew about the place in Balston but since I am going to Salem tomarrow I will try Ole's if he is in on Saturdays. Otherwise Balston isn't too far out of the way.

Thanks again!

Ole just farms his work out to Roger, the old gunsmith from s*******. Roger does some of the best work around, but it takes him a while.

Just called the Balston Gun Shop about getting a Timney trigger in my wife's Ruger M77. $90 + $10 labor for install. Full trigger, sear, adjustable, all in stainless. Price is ok, and the labor?? Wow, since when does ANYONE charge less than $40 for labor on anything??

Taking the rifle out this afternoon.
