Tuna Tuesday from Coos Bay
We're looking at making an early morning run on tuesday before the wind kicks up in the afternoon. Anyone game to tag along? From the reports, the boats from Windy Bay are scoring a little better, so we'll be heading NW, and come in with the wind in the afternoon for a nicer ride. Probably depart at 5 am from Charleston. The more boats, the better to find the fish.

Re: Tuna Tuesday from Coos Bay
Well the mission just took a turn for the worst. Several boats headed out today only to get kicked back from the weather that wasn't supposed to hit until late tomorrow afternoon, so it's a bust already. Man, it's just not our year on the S.Coast so far. We have the water, just not the weather to cooperate. Anyhow, looks like a few 'nooks in the morning and back to work.

Re: Tuna Tuesday from Coos Bay
The place is Arctic Ice, however thanks to the commercial fleet they're pretty touchy on who they give leftover shavings to. As usual, a few ruined it for most. But you can still get some if you're nice and not asking for 15 coolers for 5 bucks like the commercial guys started to. Anyhow, that's where to go.

... stupid paint buckets.
Do I sense a story here? You can't imagine all the possibilities that went through my head as I read those lines.
Gotta story????

Re: Tuna Tuesday from Coos Bay
not much of a story.. picked up and carried a 5 gallon paint bucket across a room.. set it down.. and my back felt like someon took a knife and shoved it in my lower back... :depressed: so i'm not moving to much at the moment.... go to the magic doc tomorrow.

Re: Tuna Tuesday from Coos Bay
Looks like Monday has been down graded (5 & 5 ). Plus the TUNA! water is swinging out in a big hurry. Looks like we're in a holding pattern until things shake out. Glad to hear you're back's feel'n better, Dave Oh well, it's got to stop blow'n some time, right Guess I can always go into work instead
