Marine forecast for Sunday.

My friend and I have been scheduled to go out of Garibaldi three times this July and have been met with these conditions. He has a big sled and if we are going outside we must have much better conditions than this Sunday’s forecast.

After the thread on the Salty Dogs about sleds in ocean I am almost scared to go across the bar in one. Last year we were outside a bunch of times and each time it was like a bathtub even on the bar.

My friend is still a working man and can only fish one or two days a week and this has not been a good June and July for us. :depressed:

I am a retired disabled man with a bad ticker and need to ride to the fish not walk. Tromping the river banks is out for me. Being on a fixed income now I am unable to take the guide and charter trips as I have in years past. Because I am retired I can fish during the week and will keep my eye open for an open seat. I will chip in for expenses and help out with the clean up.

I can’t wait till August when we can fish in the river. I hope my BBQ and smoker will get a good workout at that time. It has been awhile for me because of being skunked on springers.
