You might want to add to your checklist of what you need to decide if its shoot or let them go.

My thoughts are listen to the voice first. The bad one have deep voices, look at that size, then how long is that neck? then what is the shape of the wing and finally what coloration?

I think this is a fullproof method but thats just me.

Bigshark's right. I usually go by size, neck & coloration, since you have to see 'em before you can shoot 'em. They don't always announce themselves by calling. I wish they would. :smile:
