Packed up the family and headed to camp and fish Hosmer for a couple days for the 4th of July weekend. Grandma came along too and helped watch the little one while dad and mom fished

Had plenty of fun and frustration trying to play with those big brookies and Atlantic salmon. Caught plenty of both (and saw many, many refusals) primarily on a small beige leech pattern. Friday and Saturday were very good to me with this big brookie being my best fish
 man are they little pigs!

There was a decent callabaetis hatch after lunch and the Atlantics were cruising for emerging nymphs and duns both. They were also visibly picking off migrating damsel fly nymphs. I stood up on my toon and cast to cruising fish like it was flats fishing!
Always a fun visit and nice camping.
