Default corbon loads?

How good are the corbon bullets? What are there strengths and weaknesses? What bullet would be best for a 357 magnum? Its for a 8 shot taurus with a 6.5 inch barrel

I saw them in a store today and they expensive. I remember reading about them and was wondering if they are worth the $18 or so for a box of 20.
Thanks Robert

Corbon makes some good stuff. Use them with my .40 HK USP and they are great. I think they make a 125gr +p+ for the .357 that really smokes. One shot stop for sure with those loads

Thanks. I think there were some up to 200 grain. Would some were around 150 be best? Is larger better or not?

Thanks Robert

There are alot of opinions on that, I like a smaller faster load myself but many will tell you that a bigger bullet is best. If you look at the data you will see that a 125gr .357 loaded hot i.e. +P+ has the highest one-shot stop ratio of the standard 357 bullets. It really depends on what you are using them for I would not spend the money on Corbon for just shooting at cans but only for my carry gun or personal defense when I want to make sure what I hit goes down. But really the best one shot stop bullet is always another bullet. Any .357 load out of a 6.5 inch barrel will do fine with almost any round so you should be ok with whatever you pick if you want the best go with Corbon but its not hands down better then any other bullet out there..
