pheasant hunt

Going pheasant hunting the day after christmas, In Dayton Washington, was wondering if the hunting was good or not.

I hunted opening weekend and then again the first week of November. It is very poor this year, even compared to last year, which wasn't good either. Still a few birds but you'll have to work hard for every one you get. Feel lucky if you get one rooster per day. Then again, this time of year, they may be concentrated in certain spots, so if you do get into them you may get into quite a few. Good luck.
