Default Winchester Model 54 Info please

I will be getting a Model 54 Winchester BOLT action .30 cal WCF rifle from my father-in-law.

Does anyone have access to any information on this older (1933) rifle? I would love to get a "link" to information on the Internet.

Does it have any collector value?

Thanks in advance,

Rusty

Rusty,

The Model 54 was the father to the Pre-64 Winchester Model 70.

There would be some collector value to this rifle, especially if it has been unaltered.

Mike

Bad trigger that's hard to fix.

You're getting an odd caliber for a bolt action gun. It's chambered for the .30/30. Very few bolt rifles have been in that caliber and usually sell for a premium.
