for 300 to 400 hundy buy a waterskeeter if you can't find a good deal on a used boat. I have a 9fter and its all i need. The biger the boat the less water it will draft in but they also get affected by wind some and weigh more.

Hi,

I just bought one this year that I love --> creek company 1018. It's a little over your price range, but it features brass oar locks, burly professional oars, and big pontoons that make you ride high in the water. It works fine in the Sandy at 5,000 cfs, and I would not want to try that on 8 foot pontoons.

Always wear your life vest.

Best Wishes,
Motor

Scratch that Turned out we live to far apart to get it to me, so still open for tips. I need to get one before the fall run starts. I'm just dying to get in the river with something I can call my own.
