Default Pine Hollow Bass?

Hey all you Bassers out there,
Im headed to Pine Hollow to stay at a friends cabin over the 4th.
What can I expect to find as far as bass go (LM SM) and how is a good way to target them (Lures ,what kind of structure, depth etc.) I have never been there and im not much of a bass fisherman, but i do know the basics of bassin!
Any help is much apreciated.
Oh yeah i have a boat.

Default Re: Pine Hollow Bass?

I posted a response on the other thread, but thought I would be a little more detailed here.

There are a ton of very nice largemouth bass in Pine Hollow...check out their website...put a www in front of pine hollow lakeside and then a .com. Go to their picture galleries to see some hogs. I have seen several 8lb+ come out of there.

Usually we just fish a worm on a sliding weight. If you look from the boat lauch left towards the dam, there is a small point that comes out into the lake on the left hand side of the dam.

There is a bunch of underwater weeds there that hold bass in about 5' of water...also fish under the docks in the bay to the left of the boat ramp.

Here is a pic of one caught recently...this pic is copied from their website

Have fun!

I have fished there a few times, and my suggestion would be get up before light and hit it hard until the skiers get on the lake. There has been a pretty good topwater bite there early in the morning. Otherwise the normal things work just fine. It gets really hot on that lake, and those fish seek cover almost as soon as the sun hits the lake. Just my 2cents.
