I'm goin' fishin' in a few weeks at Olallie Lake. I haven't fished much in years and thought I'd take a large, mixed arsenal in hopes of catching a few. Can anyone tell me if there's good flyfishing there? If so, any idea what type of fly would work best mid July and how to fish it? I'm a true novice, not really a fly fisherman but want to learn!
Also, any recommendation for a good book to learn how to tie and fish with flies?
