Default Archery Partner

I put in for my tags and drew nothing. Looks like I am going archery this year. I live in the Bend area and don't know where to go as I just moved to this location. I don't know anybody over here so it would be great to get to make some new friends and learn the area a little bit better. Let me know

Thanks
Russ

a starting point, for bow hunting in central oregon. go south, south east, or east at least 50 miles from the border of bend city limits. before you start.there are a few exceptions like the three sisters wilderness for elk, a pack in hunt, with the possability of a mature blacktail, bear added. i'm not a bow hunters but i know some and have talked to a bunch. last year i talked to two hunting elk in the jack creek, jackies thicket, mosquito creek area in the winema nation forest south east of chemult. you go in on the 88 rd. they where seeing mature mule deer bucks most days. bring two spare tires, they where sitting in the lapine les schwab getting tires fixed. if you need some other spots i'll post them on the thread and you will find most bow hunters in central oregon practice the high art of the bow hunt on the road. a good place to start for a hunting partner is dels archery den in bend.

No doubt, my brother live in Bend and deals with Del's exclusively. I've dealt with them in the past and they are very helpful. They will hook you up!
