Default Estuary sturgeon this weekend. Is it worth a trip

Was thinking about a trip to the estuary this weekend to fish for gators. Can anybody help with the question is it worth the trip? Or would salmon fishing in the upper CR a better option?

Thanks

Fished hard with two guys that know the area out of Astoria I do not know if this is the area you are planning to fish. The results we had for one 12 hour day and one 6 hour day was one keeper and six undersize. We had the second keeper reported at East End on Thursday. Lot's of boats and not many nets in the water.

Good luck
