It is ? Well not today in Salem, it's drizzeling right now. We have had a few nice days in the 70's lately, but not 101 temps. I wish we would get some nice 85-90 degree days here soon, but seems our summer starts about july 10th. 101 dergees Wow !

I am so sick of the rain I can hardly stand it one more day.

The thunder is kind of fun, but... just a little sunshine would be lovely!

NOT-

Friday it snowed at the Lake - later that afternoon it hit a high of about 40. Highest I've seen yet this summer - 68. Oh there were a couple of 90 plus days in the spring -

Everytime we go to Idaho, my wife reminds of just how "dry" it is over there as compared to the valley....

She keeps telling me she'd trade the constant rain for more snow in the winter.

I like Idaho and spent a bunch of time fishing and traveling there as a kid with my parents and grandparents when my dad was stationed at Hill AFB in Utah.

Sure would be tough to give up the easier access to salmon/steelhead here and my company, other than some field sales jobs, doesn't have any locations in Idaho.

Raining right now but hope for the rest of the week swells up in my heart. Summer fishing and BBQs should be fun.

You can tell it's summer in Oregon when the rain gets warm.

Every year it's the same thing. We all get tired of the rain thinking summer is late but in reality the skies don't clear on a regular basis until after the 4th July.

So suck it up !

I like the rain, but I like cloudy days with no rain even better. With that said, I've got a pool in the back yard I haven't even jumped in yet. It's been nice to tune my lures up though.

I just got back from a week on the east coast. The last two days I was there it was 95, with about 80% humidity. When I flew back into PDX on Sunday afternoon, I was never so happy to see 65 degree's and light rain...When I got home I just stood on my deck, had a cold beer and enjoyed the weather.
