Puppy is going to the vet!

The golden girl is seven months old, and is going to be spayed tomorrow. Anyone have tips on her ten day recovery period they are telling me about? No running, no jumping...Sheesh, she's a Golden retriever for goodness sake. Do I have to tie her to a short leash?

First day home will take care of itself - just don't let her fall too much - ours came home like a drunken sailor. After that try your best to keep the activity level low low low

If you use a crate already, you're set. It'll be relatively easy to keep her mellow. . .just keep her crated a bit more than usual.

She's only in the crate in the back of the truck, so I don't know how she'll like that as opposed to her kennel which is about 12 X 40 and is 1/3 concrete and gravel, and 2/3 grass. But I'll give it a try! at least for the first few days. DOH! What was I thinking?
