Default Traditional Thanksgiving Day Outings

Do you have a traditional Thanksgiving Day fish or hunt?

When I grew up back east we went deer hunting Thanksgiving weekend. Right in the middle of the rut. It was great! Now I go duck hunting in the morning and feed my face the rest of the day. I can't wait. Bring on the BIRD.

HAVE A GREAT THANKSGIVING!!!

Oh I don't know, I might just go out deer hunting in the morning.
Happy Thanksgiving

Grew up back in Wisconsin. Our traditional Thanksgiving holiday weekend included pigging out on the holiday, then heading north to spend the remainder of the 4-day weekend deer hunting.

Mom stayed home, always thinking that she was married to, and raising [brother and I], a bunch of idiots considering that'd give up a perfectly warm and comfortable home to go out and freeze their buns off in the woods.

How I miss those great deer-camp memories!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

I like to go pheasant hunting. Went out today with my buddy and we limited out in ten min. Plus the dog got up three more on the way back to the truck! A good way to start an awsome holliday! Happy thanksgiving!

Got myself a Mallard, Greenwing and a Taverner goose this AM. Blew the shot on a quad of greybelly geese straight up. The dog told me where they were, caught me by suprise and I just choked. Now the dog is expecting special treats from the table. Now if I can stay awake the rest of the day.
