Deschutes county Elk Poachers Arrested

Heard on the radio on the way to work that two men were arrested for poaching elk. According to the news release, the two men were bragging about their deed and was over heard by another who called the tip line. The two were caught red handed with an elk hanging in their garage and pictures were found of other elk believed to be poached as well. I don't know if this part is true, but it was reported that the informant was given $500 for the tip.

Good to see the tip line working.
