Default sturgeon directions?????

well now that I have read all of the great reports I wanted to see where you guys put in on the willamete? I have fished it for shad allot and well thats about it( eating out of teh willamete????? :blush: ). any information on a good put in and maybe some really general directions to some decent water would be great.

hoas anyone been out to the fishery lately? :grin:

Salmonberry,
You can launch at cathedral park ramp (below the st. john's bridge) and motor up or down river or launch from Fred's marine
in the channel and head out to the main stem of the willie that way. Look for holes on the fishfinder. most of the lower river and out into the columbia just down from the confluence is good right now.
