Default Big Muley (PIC)

Decided to make a long weekend trip last weekend a do a little "rock chuck" huntn'.
We found a few hundred, and had a great time also looking at scenery.
We were into a bunch of chucks and just had made one disappear, when I noticed some movement to the right. It looked like a herd of them taken off, but I was wrong. It was a big old muley turning his head behind a rock.

We drove a bit further to get a better look and the picture and checked him out with binocs.
He had 8 eye-gaurds, and had 12 points on one side and 8+ (in the velvet) on the other side. If he keeps growing out the way he's going he should be close to 40"(cowboys's estimation), when he's done.
I have a few more pics, and will post another story of the Huge buck antelope, with picture soon.
I wish the picture was better, but I had the wrong camera for the distance.
Happy Huntn'

LOOK AT THAT GRASS!!!

We're going to see some great antlers come out of Oregon this year. The waiting game is killing me, rubbing my lucky rabbit's foot.

Let me guess. You were on a private ranch with salt licks and apple trees everywhere that charges $5000 per gun.

Actually that was one of 4 bucks that was in those rocks. There was another big guy, but not as impressive, and pictures are fuzzy. :depressed: The other 2 were nice muley's, but still need to grow up!
It is actually on a ranch, but is one that has helped the big bucks come back. They don't hunt the ranch, and if they do, it's only little ones. These guys are Cattle ranchers that love to see big muley's. It was a rush. We saw many big ones that would have scored eventually. Lots of velvet and hard to tell.
So to answer the question of the day-------Where?
Doesn't really matter, cause they are protected, and never move far from those rocks.
Sorry!
However, I will be showing some massive lope's, that I got some o.k. pics of. I plan on going back, and will take a different camera, so you can get up close and personal with them.
More soon!
Happy Huntn'
