Default Shark Rig Question

I got the wire leader and barbless sturgie hook, but the baloon bobber thing has me confused.

I keep poppong the balloons. I think it is because they are touching the wire leaders.

Should I tie a couple bobber stop knots with litle beads on the mainline, and put a slider sinker holder between them to hold the baloon?

Makin any sense?

Mark and the dog.

That may be your problem. when I used a balloon I tied it directly to my line. kind of a pain to get off though. Your Idea sounds very feasable just tie the balloon to the slider snap, and even easier to get off cause it'll slide off the snap.

have fun playing with the toothy critters...

Why use a balloon? I just put a big ol pile of fish on the hook and let out about 30-40' of line. Set the clicker and leave the bail open, then put the rod into the holder. When the fish grabs the bait you hear the clicker. Pick up the rod and lock the bail and then hang on. Best fighting fish if have found. 200+ yard runs and a mouth big enough and sharp enough to eat your arm!!!!
