Default Sturgeon set up for keepers and oversize?

I'm looking to get set up for sturgeon and was wondering what some thoughts were on my idea.....G.I. Joes had a Penn 320 on sale for $70, then fill it with 80# Tuff line and but it all together on an Eagle Claw rod.

Any advice?

Just described my exact setup and I love it. Only difference is I have a 321 - I like left hand retrieves so I can hold the pole with my strong arm on the biggies.

penn 320 and ugly stik tiger. light or medium action. Light has a softer tip and better hookset, so if you're enclined to do more keeper fish, buy that one. Load reel with 8olb tuff line. you're good to go!
