I've heard mixed reports. Sometimes no report means "let's keep this to ourselves"

It's been very very spotty, No great accumulations of fish anywhere....My pops, who is a very good salmon fisherman fished all day yesterday for one bite, In my opinion that is very tough fishing. Good luck to those that get out this weekend......

I have fished it a few times lately and have gotten a fish each time but only 1 time out of 5 trips did I get more then 1. it has been rough any time you go after springers on the coast it will be boom or bust. this is nothing like the fall fishery where you can always find fish. if you find a good pod of fish you will hit them good. if you cant find them then it will be tuff. I would fish down on the lower river for the brightest fish or the trask if it was me
