What would you like to see at the TA meeting?
Thought I would start a thread so people could post what they would like to see at the next TA meeting(s?).
I would like to see
-an Avet MX and MXJ
-someone teach me how to tie a bimini twist
-how to tie topshot connections
-lures your thinking of using to get the "Big One" to bite
That would be cool!

Freek,
Are you going to the mid valley meeting next week? If you are I can help you out with,
#1, An Avet MX and MXJ (If an MXL 2 Speed is OK?)
#2, Someone teach me how to tie a bimini twist (they are easy if you have 3 hands)
#3, How to tie topshot connections (knotless or other?)
#4, Lures your thinking of using to get the "Big One" to bite (not Albacore but Bluefin and Big Eye?)

Freakwater,
your demonstration on making the White clones.
A general demonstration on tieing knots and proper crimping technique.

Mel in a pink tutu. If he can't attend, then Keta will do.

What do I want to see at a TA meeting? Mel & TUNI!
Mel, Santana's doesn't do seafood anymore, but I'm thinking of calling Jorge and asking if he'll do a camarones mojo de ajo special for us.

NOPE! Hornitos won't come off the menu. They still have several to choose from. In fact, Jorge turned us on to Chinaco - but it's so expensive they won't carry it at Santanas... :depressed:

Er..... back on topic
A big one I forgot.....
Could someone familiar with setting lever drags bring a spring scale and show me how to properly set my drags?
That too would be cool

Re: What would you like to see at the TA meeting?
One, thing I recently thought of.
How about showing how to read navigational charts
and identify possible fishing areas.

Lor,
Nav charts are hard to read for finding small bottom changes, bathmetric charts are much better for this.
